If you're searching for a quaint retreat in the New Forest, look no further than the High Corner Inn! The charm of this 17th-century pub is undeniable, and the cozy interiors make it a perfect haven after a day of exploration. My recent stay, accompanied by a couple of friends who share my love of nature, was highlighted by our encounters with the wild New Forest ponies roaming freely, adding a magical touch to our morning walks. The food was simply fantastic—breakfast soared above expectations and set us up for our adventures. We found the location incredible for walking and cycling, with many scenic routes right at our doorstep. The welcoming staff were a pleasure, always eager to share local tips and ensure we felt at home. With its excellent amenities, including pet-friendly options, it’s ideal for dog owners like us who appreciate the freedom to roam with our furry companions. Just be sure to arrive with a sense of adventure, as the single-track roads to the inn can be a bit winding! I can confidently say I’ll be returning for another unforgettable escape in this beautiful corner of England.
